Out for a long ride and busted my chain. I walked in the store they repaired my chain and gave it a quick lube job. They were super cool and had me back on the trail in 5 mins!
I you ride a road bike don't go to these guys for any help or service. When I went it to get a new tube for my road bike and see if they could check my brakes, their customer service was not very friendly. I did get my tube and brakes checked, but I seemed like I was putting them out of their way to work on a road bike.
When I went in to ask about my mountain bike problem, it was like I was talking to a completely different staff (even though it was that same people). They were all excited to talk to me about my mountain bike.
If a bike shop is that two faced, then they won't be getting my service any more. A lot of mountain bikers are road bikers as well. I used to take my service to Over the Edge and also ask them questions, but after my last experience my service will now be going else where.
This is a place where anyone can come to. I have been to other bike shops and felt unwelcomed. Over the Edge Sports always makes you feel welcomed.
They got the nice stuff there. When in Hurricane, ride the mesa not the rim trail. The drive is worth it
This place is the friendliest and most technically capable bike shop in Utah. Their prices are fair and the in-store stock is always surprising. I run a mountain bike tour guiding business, and this is where I take my customers when we need service and last minute gear. If you buy a bike from them, I can guarantee you that you'll get the best service and maintenance ever! Every time I bring in my personal bike, they study it for a few minutes before I even say anything. They go way beyond what is necessary, and that's why they'll always be my bike shop...And they do it all with the most unpretentious attitude you can find in the bike shop universe. It's almost like they love what they do :)
