This is such a beautiful place and is a shining star in Hurricane. We walk here often and it is just perfect. We walk our dogs and leash them and pick up their litter as to respect others and keep this gem of a place, clean and beautiful. The atmosphere is perfect and I see many families enjoying picnics and feeding the ducks as well as children fishing from a nice little fishing deck. The only thing this park needs is poop bag stations so that EVERYONE will clean up and respect.
It's great. It has everything. Lots of open space, a giant pond, a great play area, two bathroom facilities, and lots of table space. Would be great for the biggest of gathering or even just to go play.
This place has recently had an up grade with a play ground for kids, nice lawn put in, and really have made this place look beautiful. Nice place to go and fish, relax, or take the kids to play.
No matter where you're coming from, make it to this park! One of Hurricane's newest parks is a must visit. Beautiful, well maintained grounds surround Grandpas Pond. Take a walk or run on the path around the pond and you'll see and hear the Virgin River as it flows gently by. Bring the whole family here and they will have a great time!
